Charntalk- I believe this movie is from 1957. But you're right that Elvis does a bit of a one-legged glide, which he started back in the early days of the Louisiana Hayride. There is documentary footage of his one legged glide across the stage. It certainly pre-dated Michael's moonwalk glide, which was great and unique. But certainly, an agrument can be made that Elvis set the precedent for the concept.

ty for responding I also noticed in Jailhouse Rock, in the big production Jail number that Elvis goes "up" on his toes in that one. So that also is not unique to Michael Jackson. Still Michael was great!

I love the look of this movie, I like it that it's in color. & it's the 50s feel that edges more towards 60s & not the film noir feel that goes more towards 40s
